Marketing & Communications Specialist (32-40 hours)

Lightswing® is ready for the next big step: expanding across Europe and growing our product range. That’s why we’re looking for a Marketing & Communications Specialist to put our brand on the international map and elevate our content, campaigns, and communications to the next level. 

About Lightswing®

Lightswing® is a brand by Illumade B.V., an innovative Dutch company developing smart interior products. The Lightswing® is our patented ceiling solution that allows you to move pendant lights with flexibility — a unique design solution for modern homes. 

Our goal? A Lightswing® in every European home. We sell through 16 of our own webshops, 26 marketplaces, and major retailers like Karwei, Gamma, and Hornbach. Starting October, we’re expanding our range with new indoor and outdoor products. 

What will you do? 

In this role, you’ll help shape our marketing strategy and independently execute campaigns and content projects. You’ll work closely with teammates in SEA, design, and social media to boost Lightswing®’s visibility and appeal across Europe. 

Your responsibilities include: 

• Setting up and executing marketing campaigns (B2C & B2B), both online and offline. 

• Writing compelling copy for websites, email campaigns, ads, brochures, and press releases. 

• Contributing ideas for positioning new products across Europe. 

• Optimizing the website based on customer behavior and conversion data. 

• Coordinating photo and video shoots, from prep and briefing to production. 

• Managing media and press relations to generate free publicity. 

• Analyzing campaign results and steering toward output and goals — starting 2026, we’ll work with OKRs. 

You’ll use tools like WordPress, Mailchimp, and Google Analytics and switch easily between creative and analytical tasks. 

What do you bring? 

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in marketing and communications. 
• Experience in copywriting and content production (including photo shoots). 

• Fluent in both Dutch and English. 

• A strategic thinker who also enjoys hands-on execution. 

• Commercially minded, self-driven, and results-oriented. 

• Organized, curious, and knows how to level up campaigns. 

• Experience in e-commerce, branding, or international marketing is a strong plus.
