But first, who is Lightswing®?! 

Lightswing® is a brand of Illumade B.V., a company that develops innovative products for in and around your home. Lightswing® is a suspension system for pendant lights that allows you to easily adjust the position of your pendnt light. We strive to make our customers’ interiors more flexible and beautiful. Our goal? To have a Lightswing® in every home across Europe (and beyond?). We achieve this by offering the brand both B2B and B2C. In the Netherlands, Lightswing® is available at all Karwei stores and online at Gamma. In Germany, you can find Lightswing® online at Hornbach and in various lighting specialty stores. Additionally, we offer our Lightswing® through six of our own webshops (which we are expanding to 15 languages) and 26 marketplaces across Europe. 

Due to our rapid growth and further internationalization, we are looking for a support & webcare specialist to join our team. Do you want to make an impact, work in a team with short, informal communication lines, and help achieve our ambitions? 

What does that entail… 

  • You will have contact with our customers who reach us through our webshops and marketplaces. You will handle their inquiries and resolve any issues. 
  • You will assist our customers in English or another European language you are proficient in (French, Spanish, or…?), as 70% of our customers are international. 
  • You will navigate various systems and tools daily, such as Zendesk, Woocommerce, Amazon, Bol.com, and learn to connect these systems for a smooth workflow. 
  • You will handle all questions and responses on our social media, contributing to building our community. You will use our webcare tool and your affinity for commercial writing. 
  • You will manage the reviews coming in through Google, our webshops, and marketplaces, using your customer service skills to keep our review scores sky-high.

What we ask of you… 

  • You have approximately 2 years of relevant work experience in a customer service role. 
  • You are customer-oriented, communicatively strong, and able to convey your enthusiasm perfectly to our customers. 
  • You have excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written, and are proficient in another European language (French, Dutch, or Spanish is a plus. Given our customers are all over Europe, being able to speak another language besides English or Dutch is advantageous). 
  • You are proactive and able to prioritize effectively. 
  • You maintain an overview and are comfortable switching between various tasks, responsibilities, and systems.
