Internship: E-commerce

Are you interested in the world of online sales, marketplaces, and digital growth? Lightswing® offers an e-commerce internship where you’ll be closely involved in optimizing our webshop and international online channels. You’ll learn how to boost product visibility, streamline processes, and improve conversion all within a design-driven and innovative environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Support tasks & marketplaces 

  • Maintaining and optimising product information on the webshop

  • Checking and updating product data, descriptions, specifications and images

  • Updating stock levels and monitoring delivery times

  • Assisting with returns and customer inquiries

  • Managing content on marketplaces like Bol.com and Amazon

  • Helping with the setup and optimisation of new listings

  • Translating product content into multiple languages or coordinating translations

  • Running SEO checks on existing content

  • Identifying and following up on technical errors

  • Creating reports on sales performance, inventory, and customer behaviour

• Research tasks 

• Researching new online marketplaces (both national and international)

• Comparing platforms on usability, margins, and technical requirements

• Analysing competitors: pricing, positioning and product range

• Mapping target groups and user behaviour per channel

• Providing advice on scaling opportunities or optimisation potential

• Exploring customer experience and ordering behaviour across different countries

What we’re looking for

• You’re currently studying at a university of applied sciences (HBO) in e-commerce, commercial economics, (digital) business, marketing or communications

• You work in a structured and accurate way

• You have a strong interest in digital tools, online sales and/or marketplaces

• You’re independent, but not afraid to ask for help

• You’re proactive and like thinking along to improve things

• Experience with Excel or similar tools is a plus
